Hi everyone!
We can't wait to meet you (you've probably heard this enough times, but it's true) and move-in day is going to be a mix of bittersweet emotions for you and your family. Prepare for this epic day, and it really is epic, because 53 students are waiting for you to arrive and help you lug all your things to your room. Please read this in its entirety because there is a lot of important information you need to know before you get here.
We need y'all to do a few things before you get here:
1. Label all your items with your name and room number (luggage, boxes, fridges, anything you bring with you that is going to get moved in)
2. Print and fill out out a car sign (attached in an e-mail)
We ask that you adhere to the move-in day schedule so it does not get too insanely clustered and we can adequately prepare for your arrival. It will be alphabetical by last name.
If your last name begins with...
A-E: 8:00-8:30am
F-K: 8:30-9:00am
L-S: 9:00-9:30am
T-Z: 9:30-10:00am
Do not arrive before 8am!
The move-in instructions for Will Rice are as follows:
New students will enter Entrance 3, make an immediate left, then right into the parking lot toward the back of Will Rice. Once unloading is complete, parents will turn around in the lot and exit back out of Entrance 3. PARENTS CANNOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT! All items will be quickly unloaded by our advisors, and parents will have to turn around and park in a designated parking lot.

Directions to Will Rice
Arriving by Car
From I-10 East or West, or I-45 North or South, take US 59 South. From US 59, take the Shepherd/ Greenbriar exit, and turn onto Greenbriar (a one-way street). Turn left at the light at the intersection of Greenbriar + University Blvd. Turn left onto Main Street, and another left into Entrance 3 the intersection of Cambridge St. and Main St. and Will Rice Advisors will direct you to the correct parking lot.

Arriving by Plane
From Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH):
Follow signs to US 59 South. Once on US 59, proceed south approximately 25 miles and exit at Greenbriar. Turn left under US 59 and follow Greenbriar to the light at Rice Boulevard. Turn left onto Rice Boulevard and continue until you arrive to Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and turn right into Entrance 3 (at the Cambridge St intersection).
From Hobby Airport (HOU):
Exit onto Broadway and follow signs to I-45 North. Take I-45 North approximately 6 miles to US 59 South. Once on US 59, proceed south approximately 3 miles and exit at Greenbriar. Turn left under US 59 and follow Greenbriar to the light at Rice Boulevard. Turn left onto Rice Boulevard and continue until you arrive to Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and turn right into Entrance 3 (at the Cambridge St intersection).
Super Shuttle provides service from both airports to Rice as well as to the Holiday Inn on Main Street, Medical Center Marriott, and Houston Plaza Hilton, which are all five minutes from Rice. From IAH, the fare is $24 per person. Departures are every hour, from 7:15am to 11:15pm. The ticket counter is located in the lower level of baggage claim areas, south side exit, just outside the glass doors of each terminal. The ride usually takes from 45 minutes to an hour. From Hobby, the fare is $19 per person. Departures are every hour, from 7:30am to 11:30pm. The ticket counter is located in the lower level Baggage Claim area and the ride takes 30-45 minutes.
