INCOGNITO-WEEK:

Welcome to Will Rice College (WRC) and Rice University! We are thrilled to be one of the first of many to welcome you into our family and home. A team of eager students and six adults are anxiously awaiting your arrival in August to help acclimate you to college. Upon your arrival, you will be whisked into a whirlwind of new surroundings and faces. From the moment you step foot onto Rice campus, you have a place at Will Rice, no matter who you are, where you’re from or what you’re interested in.

 

Will Rice is truly a unique residential college, one of eleven, but the only college that has swept Beer Bike five times, that can call themselves gods and goddesses, that honors the ideals of Myth, Power and Value, and that bleeds rust and gold pride. As one of the oldest colleges, Will Rice’s culture is full of traditions, among them the greatest is its warm and inviting community and culture of care.

 

As you embark on this new chapter in your life, you might be apprehensive, scared, nervous, anxious, excited on what to expect from your time at Rice. We have compiled this website in order to assuage some of those fears and answer some of your questions. It includes information introducing you to the people you will meet, the things you will do, and the resources available to you at Will Rice and the university as a whole. It’s only a glimpse into what we have prepared for you during O-Week.
